Our "how to" videos will walk you step by step to create your very own intentional chakra bracelet. What can wearing a real gemstone chakra bracelet do? When a person’s chakras are not balanced, it is not uncommon to feel foggy, tired, or even experience physical discomfort or illness. Stressors become debilitating, and even libido can be affected. By rebalancing these energy centers, a person can operate in an optimal state of being and even aid in healing themselves. The chakra bracelet's meaning then comes from the concept that each of these seven chakras is represented by a gemstone or crystal and corresponding color. Chakra bracelets utilize those specific colors, crystals, and gemstones and can provide a healing, meditative, and balancing power, especially when worn on the body. Crystals and gemstones have long been associated with energy centers and healing, which is why it is not surprising that wearing them on the body can be immensely beneficial. Another part of the chakra bracelet meaning is harnessing the power that comes from the beads on the chakra bracelet, as well as observing the color cues the person wearing the chakra bracelet to tap into a particular energy center in their body, and ultimately balance the chakra centers. This can have many desirable effects, from reducing stress and increasing energy levels to raising productivity and physical health. Because the left side of the body is associated with the feminine side of the spirit, wearers of the bracelet are often encouraged to wear them on the left side as well. It is said that the bracelet is placed on the left side allows energy to be received into the stones on the chakra bracelet, also contributing to the chakra bracelet's meaning.   STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS TO MAKE YOUR OWN CHAKRA GEMSTONE BRACELET. You can also add straws or pencils under the towel to prevent beads from rolling. Step 2: Open you DIY One Tribe Kit Do not rush the process. There are steps you can take for breaks if needed. Before we start we need these items: - A One Tribe DIY Chakra Gemstone Kit - Scissors -  Lighter ( Under the age of 18 - adult supervision required) -  Hand towel or shirt. Step 1: (Set up) Find a place of solitude. Preferably a table and lay the towel down. Fold the edges of the towel under itself to give the towel a lip. This will help keep the beads from rolling off. You can also add straws or pencils under the towel to prevent beads from rolling. Step 2: (Kit Opening) Open your DIY One Tribe Chakra Gemstone Kit. 1. Pull the thread out and unravel it straight. 2. Slowly pour the beads into your hand or on the towel. Place your hand in front of the container to help prevent the beads from rolling. 3. Now that the beads are out. We want to separate them. Separate ( Black Jade)(Chakra) (Hematite spacers). Step 3: (Thread Cut)Use Scissors to cut the thread to about 24 inches. This will be the thread we bead with. SAVE THE EXTRA THREAD (put it back in the container). The extra thread is used to make the slip knot in Phase 2. Step 4: (Thread Prep) In order to get the thread through the beads we have to heat up the ends of the thread and create a needle-like end. without catching the thread on fire we want to hear up the end and twist the end into a thin needle. The thread will harden when it cools. To make threading easier we want to harden about half an inch of thread. To test is the thread is ready to thread beads. Try to feed the thread through (Jade) bead. If the thread does not fit. We need to continue heating up the end and twisting the thread through your fingers. FIRE HAZARD: If you catch the thread on fire. Use the metal on the lighter to smuge the fire out. THIS CAN BURN YOUR FINGERS.  To prevent burning your fingers. dampen your fingertips by licking or tapping water before touching the thread. If the thread gets to wet it will make heating it into a needle much harder. When one side is ready to thread beads we now want to create a simple knot.  Step 5: (Knot Holder) - On the opposite side of the thread from the one we just heated up into a needle. We are going to make a knot about 5-7 inches up the thread. We want 5-7inches of thread to be after the knot. The knot is going to stop the gemstones after threading. It's also the beginning of the bracelet. Step 6:

There are a bunch of ways you can design your bracelet. But we do want to ensure we keep the chakra stones in the right order. Crown Chakra – Violet/Gold/Clear – at the top your head Third Eye Chakra – Indigo – on your brow Throat Chakra – Blue – on your throat Heart Chakra – Green/Pink – at the center of your chest Solar Plexus Chakra – Yellow – over your solar plexus (just under your ribs) Sacral Chakra – Orange – on your lower abdomen Root Chakra – Red/ – at the base of your spine Red Jasper, Yellow Jasper, Tiger Eye, Adventure, Sodalite, Lapis, Amethyst Line up your stones in order from left to right. Step 7: (Measure Wrist) - Take the thread and wrap it around your wrist. Use the Knot as your initial point. leave about half an inch space for the slip knot. Then place your thread next to your beads to get an idea of how many beads to use. Woman Wrist size would be 6-7 Black Jade beads on either side of the chakra stones. Mens Wrist - 8-10 beads on each side of the chakra stones. **** Be creative with the hematite spacers. You will want a spacer on each side of your chakra line up. The other Spacer can be placed anywhere inside of your design or can be used as the pull strings at the end of your slip knot strings. See images for reference Step 8: (tread beads) - Now start threading each bead from left to right. You want to ensure you have an even amount of beads on each side of your chakra.  TIP: When threading beads. Do not lift your bracelet up. always try to keep the gemstones resting on the table. This will make threading easier and ensure your beads don't fall to the ground. Once all your beads are threaded. You want to wrap it around your wrist to make sure it's not to big. You want .5-1inch opening between the first and last bead.  WARNING: Your beads will slip off the thread if you are not pinching the loose thread end when you try to wrap it around your wrist. When measuring. leave the beads on the table and place your wrist in the middle and on top. Loop the end of the bracelet that has the knot over your wrist. Then loop the open end over your wrist. ensure to wrap your finger around the thread the side that has no knot. This will prevent the beads from un-beading. Step 9: (knot 2) - Once your happy with the way your design looks. We want to tie a knot on the same side we threaded the beads. We want the knot to be tight against the last bead. This part is a little tough. TIP: DO NOT PULL THE KNOT TIGHT UNTIL IT IS AGAINST THE LAST BEAD. Keep the beads on the table flat and walk the knot down the tread till it's against the last bead. Place your finger on top of the knot and bead. You want to hold the knot on the bead and slowly pull the thread tight. Give yourself a pat on the back for getting halfway there! This is where we take a break, grab a drink of water, stretch, and give yourself affirmation that you can finish your bracelet.
This next part is very tedious and rewarding once completed. We are going to create the slip knot using the extra string and multiple knots called square knots. First: we want to lay out the bracelet in a half moon. the beads will arc and then you will line up the thread ends in a straight line parallel to one another and make sure they are not crossing.  You have to have the threads lined in front of you at 12 o clock and 6 o clock. Where when lined up each end will be on the opposite end of the bracelet.
